TSDF

TSDF means Treatment Storage and Disposal Facility. In Bangladesh there are no TSDFs till now. TSDFs are must for proper ship recycling. According to the chapter iii 15b, BSBRR-2011 Ship Building and Ship Recycling Board(SBSRB) shall approve the SRFP (Ship Recycling Facility Plan) who will be the member of the Hazardous Waste Treatment, Storage and Disposal facility (TSDF).
Establishing TSDF is one of the major issues to ASRB because without TSDF proper ship recycling wiil not be accomplished
